This summary is here for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to every quote, order and sale by Drumman Adhesives, a division of Glenmar Technology, LLC (“Drumman,” “we,” “us”), 1130 North Ave, Plainfield, NJ 07062, and to your use of this website.
By accepting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If a written quote or invoice issued by us says something different, the quote or invoice controls for that sale.
2. Quotes and prices
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless the quote says otherwise.
Our equipment is surplus and quantities are limited, so every quote is subject to prior sale until we have received your payment.
Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include freight, crating, insurance, duties or taxes unless the quote lists them.
3. Orders and payment
We accept wire transfer, ACH and company check.
Payment in full is due before equipment ships or is released for pickup. For checks, that means once the check has cleared. We reserve the unit for you as soon as payment is received.
4. Taxes
You are responsible for any sales, use or similar taxes on your purchase. If your purchase is exempt (for example, for resale), send us a valid exemption or resale certificate before we invoice.
5. Inspection before purchase
You're welcome to inspect any unit in person at our warehouse in Plainfield, NJ, by appointment, and to ask for photos, serial numbers, build dates and nameplate details of the exact unit.
It is your responsibility to decide whether a unit suits your materials, process and safety requirements before you buy.
Specifications and descriptions on this website and in our quotes come from manufacturer documentation, nameplates and our own records. We provide them in good faith, but they are not a warranty.
6. Equipment condition: sold as-is
Our equipment is surplus. Much of it has never been used, but it has not been through a manufacturer's refurbishment program, and we do not add a warranty of our own. That is how we keep prices well below list, and why we make sure you can see everything before you buy.
ALL EQUIPMENT AND PARTS ARE SOLD “AS IS, WHERE IS,” WITH ALL FAULTS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRUMMAN ADHESIVES AND GLENMAR TECHNOLOGY, LLC DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Replacement parts bought directly from Glenmar Technology are covered by Glenmar's own terms.
7. Manufacturer warranties and trademarks
We are an independent supplier, not an authorized distributor of Nordson Corporation, Atlas Copco or any other manufacturer. We do not pass on any manufacturer's warranty, and a manufacturer may not provide warranty service for equipment bought from us.
Nordson, Rhino, VersaDrum, Pro-Meter and ScoreGuard are trademarks of Nordson Corporation. Atlas Copco and SCA are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify the equipment.
8. All sales are final
Because every unit is documented and available for inspection before purchase, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges.
If we make a mistake and ship a different model or configuration from the one on your invoice, tell us within 5 business days of delivery and we will put it right.
If you need to cancel an order before the equipment ships or is picked up, contact us right away. Any refund is at our discretion.
9. Shipping and risk of loss
Freight is quoted separately. We can arrange shipment as a convenience to you, or you can use your own carrier.
Title and risk of loss pass to you when the equipment is loaded onto your vehicle or your carrier's vehicle at our warehouse.
Ship dates are estimates, and we are not responsible for carrier delays.
Inspect every delivery before signing for it and note any damage on the bill of lading. Damage claims are made against the carrier; we will help you with the paperwork.
10. Pickup and loading
Pickups are by appointment. Loading and rigging are the buyer's responsibility and cost.
Your driver is responsible for securing the load and must bring straps or chains rated for its weight (and tarps if needed). The vehicle must be suitable for palletized freight. We may refuse a pickup with a vehicle we believe is unsafe or unsuitable.
11. Installation and safe use
You are responsible for installing, commissioning and operating the equipment with qualified personnel, following the manufacturer's documentation and all applicable codes and regulations, including electrical, pressure and lockout/tagout requirements.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PRODUCTION, LOST PROFITS OR DOWNTIME, ARISING FROM ANY SALE OR FROM THE USE OF ANY EQUIPMENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO A SALE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE ITEM CONCERNED.
13. Export
If equipment will leave the United States, you are responsible for export documentation, import duties and compliance with U.S. export control and sanctions laws.
14. Using this website
The content of this website is for general information. Stock, prices and specifications can change without notice.
Photos may show a representative unit of the same model. Ask us for photos of the exact unit you are buying.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you accept a quote applies to that sale.
